Our History

History

Spear Green Design is a naval architecture and marine design consultancy founded in Sydney in 1993. We are a team of passionate and dedicated individuals, offering a great depth of experience within the marine industry. We also offer experience and specialised skills to complement and work seamlessly with shipyards and boat builders. Our ability to satisfy each vessel owner’s needs and passenger expectations in private and commercial environments has resulted in continued relationships with many clients.
Computer Aided Design (CAD) and 3D modelling and rendering facilities are used for visualisation of the design to ensure a high degree of accuracy and a compatibility of dimensions. This method provides an effective basis for any future modifications or alterations which may be required and importantly enables us to work closely with any other organisations within any vessel’s design process.

Spear Green Design are members of AIMEX, Interferry, Superyacht Sydney and SNAME and are represented at many domestic and international trade shows and conferences. Our works have been featured in ’Boat International’, ’Showboats’, ’Work Boat World’, ’Fast Ferry International’ and other marine industry publications.
