Spirit of the Wild performs well during Sea Trials


Spirit of the Wild, the new Eco Tourism vessel for Gordon River Cruises has performed well during Sea Trials in Hobart. She has exceeded speed and noise targets and all hybrid system diesel and electrical powering elements performed as expected. The quality of the fit out, beautifully detailed by the team at builders RDMC is exceptional, with ecstatic clients and owners. Superb finishes have been utilised very well, as designed and specified by SGD. Features include full height glazing with glass elements used as structure, cooling systems to ensure no condensation, window wash down systems – and that’s all just about the exceptional viewing capability offered by this vessel. The sumptuous furniture, the beautiful deck coverings, the feature stretched deck head in the Mid deck area along with the expansive views offered by the Portuguese Bridge all contribute to this vessels excellence. The galley and servery bars and buffets is a state of the art facility which will serve fabulous , fresh Tasmanian produce to 200 guests on board. This vessel will be officially launched and christened during week 3 of May 2018.
